Green Glowing Eyes

Ever since I saw this tutorial I have been a fan of using the technique. It takes some precise handiwork, and thus is a trial and error experience, but in the end I am overly happy with the effects, and thus saw a need to include it on the site.

Here are some old archive examples of how I've used the technique:

As you can see, the effect works best on lighter colors, but with careful effort can be used on darker tones as well.

Stormraven Gunship

Here is my Stormraven Gunship, only a small bit of paint on it.

It was made using patzgcruz's template (available here http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?t=6013), the only modification begin filling in the rear area with a plasticard box, as I was not a fan of the big open area.

Blood Angels Death Company!

Just got my hands on the new Death Company box and immediately got to painting. I have also included here a Death Company Dreadnought I did a few weeks back.

Overall, they're fun to paint, but a serious pain given how difficult it is to paint black, as well as the sheer amount of "stuff" is on each model (purity seals, icons, etc.)

Tervigon Conversion

Here is a recent project: a converted Tervigon.

I've seen a lot of people doing them out of a Trygon and Carnifex but I've never been a fan of spending $100 on a single conversion. That being said this is a simple one using left over Trygon parts with a Carnifex base. I did, however, use some Greenstuff to widen the actual body, thus giving it a more caterpillar/serpantine form.

Tyranids!!!!

The start of my overly ambitious Tyranid army. It is a variation of the Blue Crab/Desert Rose scheme I found here: http://www.necrotales.com/necroTutorials/tut_painting_tyranids_01.php

Not sure what to do with the Tyrant, got him before the new codex came out under the assumption "they'll always be useful". Now I find him a bit to costly... But I have him, so oh well!

Prototype Blood Angels

Here we have some early concept ideas for future Blood Angels (this was some two years back) featuring first Angels Encarmine (bottom), who where eventually scrapped, to my Marrow Suckers/Unnamed force seen below.

Basically I wanted some concept of "zombie marines" without them being actual zombies. Hence the battle damage resembling torn flesh rather than armor damage. This was also the first time I experimented with the blowing eye effect, which I continue to use to this day.

Plastic Grey Knights (Part 4)

Lastly, here are some painted Terminators, including a Brother-Captain Stern.
